Cette boucle qui vous conduit à la cabane de l'Aiguille vous amène à traverser une belle forêt de mélèzes, qu'on appelle un mélèzin. Le sous-bois de ces forêts est très caractéristique puisqu'il est recouvert d'une moquette d'aiguilles d'une grande richesse pour la biodiversité.
Ce couvert forestier vous apporte également un ombrage salutaire.

Wend your way to the Cabane de l'Aiguille through the larch forest of Mont Guillaume, the larch being the iconic tree of the Alps. The ever-present greenery and vegetation make this a trail full of colour. The shape of these giant trees allows a gentle and tranquil light to filter through. And not forgetting the presence of the many and secretive inhabitants of the forest. After these shaded, green environments, you will be taken by surprise by the wide-open spaces of the area of alpine pasture at the Cabane de l'Aiguille, before dropping back down through the forest.

  2. Arrivé à Prés Clos, rester sur la piste et continuer par la gauche. Effectuer une belle montée en lacet.

  3. Puis, juste avant la source, prendre le sentier à droite (peu visible). Effectuer le passage de la Pierre Pointue. Au prochain croisement, prendre à gauche. Sur la piste, suivre la direction du lac de L’Hivernet.

  4. Quelques mètres après, au carrefour prendre à droite. Ensuite, prendre le sentier de droite direction l’Aiguille, Les Fontainiers. Arrivé à la Cabane de l’Aiguille suivre le chemin à droite qui rejoint le lieu-dit les Fontainiers.Suivre ensuite le sentier jusqu'au parking.

At the next intersection, turn right towards the Lac de l'Hivernet via Les Fontainiers and L'Aiguille. When you reach the track, turn left and carry on in this direction.   4. A few metres further on, turn right at the crossroads. Then, take the path on the right leading towards L'Aiguille and Les Fontainiers. When you reach the Cabane de L'Aiguille, follow the track on the right which leads to the locality of Les Fontainiers.
